Michael Jackson Memorial - July 1st

posted by High Voltage Staff | Thursday, June 25, 2009 | 6:57 PM
We felt the need to repost the announcement of the first Michael Jackson memorial since TMZ announced his death today (very very sad day). We'll be here, will you?

On the evening of July 1, the Viper Room (8852 W Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA) will host a memorial event in their downstairs lounge to honor the recent passing of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. They will be spinning his mindboggling legacy of hits all night. Admission for the memorial is free.

As John Mayer posted on Twitter (@johncmayer): "A major strand of our cultural DNA has left us. RIP MJ."

We hope you'll join us to celebrate a life and volume of music that influenced the world.

High Voltage Sunday's at The Viper Room will be interrupted this week for extra special show The Viper Room is bringing in featuring Esham & Kung Fu Vampire. Never fear, we will return on June 28th with the most killer rock night yet.

In the meantime here are some photos from last Sunday thanks to TotallyLikeDuh.
